Creative Young Designers Season 2

by SoA+D's Social and Cultural Innovation lab, in collaboration with Eisa (Education Institute Support Activity) of ThaiBev, and The University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce

SoA+D invites you to visit E-san, enter the learning rooms based on real-life experiences, and observe a group of weavers (from Nong Bua Lamphu Province) at Dewa Thai Fabric in Ban Na Kham Hai. It is a good project by SoA+D’s Social and Cultural Innovation lab, in collaboration with Eisa (Education Institute Support Activity) of ThaiBev, and The University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, to help the local community in developing a product design and fabric pattern design. This is not only an extension of product development to be more contemporary but also a focus on new target groups and marketing channels for the new generation who are satisfied with both contemporary design and street fashion. It’s another enjoyable project led by Asst. Prof. Nanthana Boonla-or and Asst. Prof. Woranooch Chuenruedeemol, from the Social and Cultural Innovation Lab of the Design Innovation program at SoA+D, as part of the course, IND 401 Collaborative Product Development. Let’s listen to them and find out what the Design Innovation program students gained from participating in this project and how much fun they would have at work. You can follow along to learn more about what happened behind the scenes.
