ABOUT THE LAB
The Center of Service Innovation (CoSI) aims to be an exemplary model for the cultivation of service innovation in Thailand. We focus on the research and development of innovative services that are contextual to the ways people behave and live their lives. CoSI also works towards the continuous improvement of KMUTT’s learning and working landscapes, as well as its service offerings in academics, data, consulting, and technology. The study of user behaviors over spans of time, through data analytics, allows us to see emerging user patterns that provide critical contexts to CoSI’s future development strategies. As a service innovation platform, CoSI lends itself as a demonstration site for future collaborations with the private sector. The bodies of knowledge gathered and the activities designed within CoSI can be scaled up and applied as services to industries outside the university, in sectors both private and public. We believe that this can help catalyze change at the scale of organizations, as well as the country as a whole.

WHY US?
We develop new innovation services to help organizations adapt to the shifting paradigms of the future—be in it education, environmental ecosystems, learning landscapes, working landscapes, or making sure that life at KMUTT is adaptive to the new normal paradigm.
We foster and develop new innovation services, as in the systems and applications used for providing services as well as the infrastructures necessary to support them; not only for end users but also for all stakeholders interacting with the service ecosystem to develop organizations into high performance ones. At CoSI we have developed a service innovation research platform that houses a collection of essential data that can aid the analysis of user experience and behavior in multiple dimensions—helping organizations make better informed decisions on their future developmental strategies.
We have built an exemplary model for service innovation that is ready for implementation within KMUTT. Applications range from classroom learning, further behavioral research, and data analysis; furthering the continuous improvement of the service innovation center.

Service Innovation Research Platform
We are open to collaborations to gather, analyze, and share bodies of knowledge on user experience and behavior; and to develop new modes of services such as data analytics for online user research and data visualization tools for context analysis and application. These findings and tools can be applied to build value-driven innovative services that are efficient, effective, and evidence-based
